When Jesus was transfigured on the mountain, His glory was revealed to the disciples. Yet even after witnessing this moment, they still struggled to understand the kind of kingdom Jesus came to bring. They longed for glory and position, but Jesus came to bring salvation through the cross.

This message reminds us that following Jesus means more than admiring Him. It means listening to His words, embracing the path He walked, and understanding that in God's kingdom, greatness is found through humility and sacrifice.

The way of self-preservation leads to emptiness, but the way of surrender leads to life.
